Citigroup May Book $6B Charge on Smith Barney

Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- In "Street News," Bloomberg's Scarlet Fu reports on today's top stories including Citigroup may take up to a $6 billion charge this quarter as it writes down the value of the Smith Barney venture, the Aussie dollar climbs to a four-month high against the dollar and Apple will drop Google's YouTube from the next version of the operating system for the iPhone and iPad.
