But of course, we continue to see the US China tensions very visible during the National People's Congress as well. What's the appetite out there for foreign companies to list in the city? Well, first of all, thank you very much for having me. And Happy International Women's Day to both of you and to your viewers on the topic of Stock Connect. I agree with you. This is a very exciting development. In fact, you know, we consider this as a major game changer. The fact that international companies which are listed on our exchange on a primary basis can now be included in the Stock Connect program. This is a game changer because you could imagine that they are now able to tap a massive investor base on the mainland. And your question whether or not, you know, this is going to be a very big pull factor for international companies to come to list. I can tell you that, in fact, since the announcement and the first announcement obviously was the joint announcement from CSL and the SNC in December, we have, in fact, met with a lot of companies and they have proactively reached out to us wanting to know more about this new development. And so especially now that we are more able to travel more freely, I'm sure that we will step up on our efforts to do more outreach to these companies. How big are the companies that you are talking to? What does the IPO pipeline look like? Oh, and I can tell you that, you know, they come in all sizes. We have attracted interest from a very diverse set of companies. And they they also come from very different industries. So I cannot give you names at the moment, but I can say that we do expect that to add to our already very robust pipeline of IPO candidates. Barney, have you seen the recovery since China's reopening? Has there been a sudden influx of interest? Or do you expect that process when it comes to cross-border interest and volumes to be a slower one? OK. Well, first of all, what we have seen is obviously a very strong interest to reconnect. By that, what I mean is that over the last three weeks, three to four weeks since the travel restrictions have lifted, we have at the HK VIX, in fact received a lot of delegations, both from overseas, different countries as well as, you know, from the mainland cities and provinces. And everyone is very eager to connect and to really figure out what opportunities out there are. And I'm sure that, you know, the next chapter will be for us to reciprocate and you'll go back to the mainland as well as to visit the international companies again, you know, to see what opportunities there are for us to pursue. So, you know what? My feeling is that, you know, there is a very high level of eagerness. And, you know, if the level of activity that I've seen in the past few weeks and it is an indication of what lies ahead for the remaining 2023, then I think, you know, we have a lot of good things to look forward to. What are the things that perhaps is complicated and we've heard from HK Ex talking about this is the fact that the exchange through LME has been hit with more lawsuits over these NIKKEI trades. What's the strategy at this point? Is it easier just to sell the LMA or how long do you see this as being a continued overhang? OK. Well, first of all, we believe the cases are without merit. But I'm sure you appreciate that. I cannot really comment any further on the ongoing litigation. However, what I can say is that the LME is very focused on building the long term health and resiliency of its markets, and the LME team has already taken measures to build market resilience, such as implementing daily price limits and the RTS position reporting our four office leader delivered medals. And so we are carefully considering also the recommendations from our independent review, which was conducted by 04 Lyman and we do aim to publish an implementation plan at the end of the first quarter of 2023. So those are the steps that we are taking and we're providing support to the LNG. Barney, at what point would you need to consider provisions being made in relation to the claims and legal fees? Well, like I said, you know, we are taking a lot of steps to make sure that we continue to build on the long term health. And, you know, given the litigation, you know, I will not be able to comment any further.

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. Co-Chief Operating Officer Bonnie Chan discusses the Stock Connect program and the pipeline for initial public offerings.
