00:00With the resignation of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in Sri Lanka any closer do you think to having a unity government. Well it doesn't look like because what you the statements that are coming from the opposition in fact the main leader misses I think pretty much as ISE V clearly mentioned that he will not have anything to do with that either. FOX And the kind of violence that we are seeing on the ground people pouring out into the streets protesting against the Rajapaksa ISE wanting them to go. Doesn't look like that. Sri Lanka is any close to any unity government although some are saying that DAX could be the last option left for Sri Lanka. Now what about the possibility here with a military takeover a coup d'etat there in Sri Lanka. There are fears growing certainly of that but are they baseless. No they're not baseless in fact the former Sri Lankan president Chandrika Kumaratunga has tweeted about this yesterday saying I mean asking people to you know be to stay away from violence. She says that the violence that is being carried out all protesters of you know attacking houses burning up vehicles could just lead or could just give away Father Rajapakse says to bring in the military. And mind you if you go back into the background of the president the current president. Go to my Rajapaksa. He is a former military officer and he has a lot of support within the military. And that is where perhaps the fears are.
