00:00What did you learn through Kogut about how to manage the company differently better or some other ways that you would have not probably learned if you had not gone through code. Yeah I certainly think one of the things that we saw was our ability to stay connected through technology. WebEx zoom on Amazon chime. I've learned all the different teleconferencing tools and they've all worked reasonably well for us. So I think we learn things there that we have the ability to stay connected. I think the other thing though that it highlighted for us is that we ultimately are an in-person business where in-person in the restaurant to where in-person in the office. And so you lose something from culture you lose something from a connectedness by by being so remote. And so while it worked well for the time we're committed to getting back into our offices getting back into the restaurants. So for you being bringing back all your office employees back and say five days a week just like before are you gonna say three days a week or what are you going to do. We always provided flexibility prior to the pandemic. So we had one day of what we called flex time prior to the pandemic where people could work from home or you know if they needed to come in the office we'd left it up to the employee. We're gonna probably extend that. We are going to extend that to two days of flex time. But ultimately it's about you've got to do what you need to do to do your job. And so the expectations aren't changing. But if you have the ability to maybe have a little more flexibility but a minimum of three days you need to be in the office or in the restaurant.

McDonald’s Wants Workers in Office at Least Three Days a Week

McDonald's Corp. Chief Executive Officer Chris Kempczinski says the world's largest restaurant chain is committed to getting its employees back into the offices and restaurants. Kempczinski explained that you lose some of the culture when people work remotely. He says corporate workers will be expected in the office at least three days a week.
