00:00What would a discord acquisition mean for Microsoft's various business lines such as gaming and cloud infrastructure. Well it will be almost a perfect acquisition for both of those lines. Those are really important for Microsoft. It has shown itself willing to spend big money already spent 7 1/2 billion dollars to acquire Z Emacs which is a game publishing company with established franchises most of which he wants to build out its X box game pass subscription service. And this good works really nicely because it has more than 100 million users already and they is a community built around gaming. So those people can be funneled directly into game parts. That's one thing. But the other is this court has relied on Google's cloud infrastructure for the longest time. If Microsoft tradition all of those users all they view chat and file sharing to Microsoft Asia. That's another win. What about discord. Do they need to sell right now or do they see positive and an eager market ahead of them. What's their timeline. Well they raise funding at the end of last year at a 7 billion dollar valuation so I don't think they are running out of cash anytime soon. But at same time much like Zoom they're using numbers skyrocketed because of the pandemic last year. So they see themselves in an ideal position situation to test the market. I imagine ten billion dollars might even be low figure for them and they might look for much more than that. Discord has more than one hundred million monthly users is ten billion dollars a bargain prices. Is that enough where you think they want the to fetch higher. Yeah like I said I think there are any higher. We have heard from sources that they've had discussions with Epic Games and Amazon. Amazon owns Twitch and Twitch and this could already have an integration. So it would be nice synergy there as well. So there are competitors to Microsoft as we've said. As we reported there isn't an imminent deal. And there's a good chance that this court might indeed test the open market. And you know we don't know yet. But maybe even go for this back option that's also on the table.
