00:00There is a sense here that the market swings and the market sell off that we're in could sort of drag on for quite some time. We still obviously haven't gotten through the health crisis and we haven't really seen hard economic data that shows the impact here. What exactly are you preparing for with regards to those sort of the severity and duration of any sort of economic downturn here . Thanks Ryan. Well so we have we put a hedge on our clients portfolios in early February. Call it luck. I'll take it . Yeah and that's worked out very nicely. It's been a much welcome sort of shelter in the storm. And we're renewing those contracts just sort of gingerly at the moment because they're very expensive. So we're looking around and we'll continue to keep that on for the next quarter at least. We also obviously preach diversification. But what we've actually been doing in the in the equity portfolios is we've been clearing the rubble out of the portfolios and and really upgrading the quality at much cheaper prices. I think Mike brought up an excellent point . This is a nice little sort of low stress rally but off of the futures overnight. I'm really pleased with any kind of action that's in the green. So we're seeing good companies behave better than the overall market in the beginning of the downturn . Everything sold off and now our stocks are starting to outperform. And that's usually a sign that we're at least getting close to a bottom .
