Gove Says U.K. Won't Dilute Standards for Trade

U.K. Environment Secretary Michael Gove said that the car industry was moving away from petrol and diesel already, but that it is "critically important" that government provides encouragement for the car industry to "do the right thing." He also said that there would be no "watering down" of the U.K.'s high animal welfare and environmental standards during negotiations for new post-Brexit trade deals. (Excerpts.
