Canadian Startups Fall Behind on Scaling Up

Once a company gets a crucial seed-level or venture capital investment, one of the big challenges is then scaling up, especially in Canada. A 2015 Global Startup Report by Compass ranked Canada's three largest cities at 17th, 18th and 20th out of 20. Beyond that, rankings weren't made public. But Compass did reveal that Waterloo placed in the top 25.
