Morneau: Stimulus Just Now Going Into Economy

Finance Minister Bill Morneau will soon update Canadians on the government's fiscal stimulus plan, its impact thus far, and whether he needs to tap budget reserves. Economists expect to hear the deficit has grown by about $16 billion, and that the economy is generating $50 billion less revenue than last year. In an interview with Bloomberg TV Canada's Amanda Lang, Minister Morneau says we shouldn't be all that surprised by the estimates, but he expects the tide to soon turn for Canada's economy.
