Renminbi Unlikely to See a Messy End, Says Baweja

Emerging market assets fell to the lowest in almost a month after the Federal Reserve’s latest minutes reinforced expectations U.S. interest rates are set to rise by year-end and a decline in oil prices and China’s exports weighed on sentiment. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index of shares slid 1.2 percent as of 8:31 a.m. in London after China’s exports dropped the most since February as global demand remained tepid.
