00:00We see a big convergence in the way cyber attacks are happening and evolving with the way technology is evolving and the Internet of Things or connected devices. What it's doing is it's opening up a whole new attack landscape for a lot of the cyber threats that we see today and what we can predict might happen in the future. One example of how to use these as ransomware evolves from what we used to just think of as a variant of malware to an entire category of attack. You could start to see how attackers might apply like an approach like ransomware to connect the devices. Let's say you get in your connected car in the morning or your autonomous vehicle what vehicle and you get a pop up and says if you pay me three hundred dollars I'll let you drive to work today. That's a that's that's in the future but it's certainly not going to be outside the realm of possibility for what we might face . Obviously did a survey about the cyber security talent outlook . What did you discover. We've seen we've known for a while that there was a shortage of cybersecurity talent not only in the US and North America but around the world. And one of the things that that we believe is very important is that the industry both private sector as well as governmental organizations start today addressing this talent shortage in our industry. And one of the things that you see from a recent study we did is we've gone a lover deeper to try to confirm with practitioners where they see talent shortages whether weather is a global phenomenon and ways in which they think we can go about addressing the challenges and certainly the confirmation that we've got you know well over 80 percent of people in major countries around the world who are in cybersecurity today believe we've got a talent problem. We see it in the form of salaries increasing but we also know that there is opportunity to go after this problem by encouraging people earlier in their educational process you know at the college level at the university level to get involved in cybersecurity as a potentially long term career. One of the things we've also heard from the survey respondents were that they view the government as a big player here that Western governments need to get involved in training the match that kind of next wave of cybersecurity talent so that we've got the people that we need the men and women we need to deal with this problem over the long term. CHRIS All of this ties into I.T. budgets and costs too. Do you see I.T. departments having to increase budgets for security or is technology advancing quickly enough that budgets can stay relatively constant in the coming years. So cyber security has been a growing spend factor in most I.T. budgets for the last several years. I think we're seeing some some leveling off of that growth but we do believe there is a massive opportunity for cyber security capabilities to integrate more effectively with the rest of the I.T. infrastructure. And as we see evolutionary like the evolution of using cloud based applications using cloud services as we see you know new devices coming online we think there is a huge opportunity for for a lot of these players to integrate key key security capabilities into the fabric of what they offer. And it's one of the reasons why in our own portfolio we and we've started to move a lot of our technologies to becoming more virtual to offer cloud based services ourselves because we recognize that's the only way that organizations are going to be able to scale up and deal with this problem in a way that's consistent with where the future of the I.T. infrastructure is headed .
