Nusseibeh: Turkey is Cheap and Money Makers Should Buy
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin agreed to deepen economic cooperation as they seek to restore ties that soured after a deadly encounter between their air forces last year. Hermes Investment Management Chief Executive Officer Saker Nusseibeh discusses the Lira and emerging markets with Bloomberg's Manus Cranny on "Countdown." Emerging-market currencies and stocks advanced for a fifth day as traders pushed back forecasts for when the Federal Reserve will increase U.S. interest rates, boosting demand for higher-yielding assets. All of the developing-nation currencies that have started trading on Wednesday strengthened against the dollar. A gauge of emerging-market shares headed for its highest close in more than a year.
