Donald Trump officially became the 2016 Republican presidential candidate at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on Tuesday. His home state of New York cast the votes that put him over the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination. “Congratulations dad, we love you,” said his son Donald Trump Jr.
