All FTSE 100 CEO Pay 'Too High', Says Weight
Sharesoc Director General Cliff Weight discusses director compensation ahead of WPP's AGM. Sharesoc earlier said WPP CEO Martin Sorrell’s pay is “far too high” as a third of shareholders are reportedly expected to vote against Sorrell’s compensation as head of the advertising company, The Telegraph said. The paper reported his pay package £70m ($101.6m), including £63m in shares dating back to 2009. WPP plc operates a communications services group. The Company's operations encompass advertising, media investment management, information and consultancy, public relations and public affairs, healthcare and specialist communications, and branding and identity services.
