Returning Racing to the Motor City

Racing in Detroit has always been a mainstay but its Grand Prix was put on hiatus after the recession in 2008 due to a lack of sponsors and ticket sales. After years of neglect, General Motors worked to return racing to the city. GM Global Product Chief Mark Reuss told Bloomberg's David Westin why bringing back racing in 2012 with the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix is about more than just a race, it's an important part of rebuilding Detroit.
