Bateman: Volatility Can Offer Opportunities

The bull market that celebrates its seventh anniversary today has restored $14 trillion to stock values, pushing up the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index by almost 200 percent. Stocks in emerging countries halted an oil-induced seven-day advance on Tuesday and money manager Jeffrey Gundlach termed the recent spate of gains as a bear-market rally.
