Barbara Bush Is Hoping for a South Carolina Surprise

Barbara Bush was on the campaign trail with her son Jeb on Friday. Outside a community center in Greenville, South Carolina, the former first lady told Bloomberg Politics’ Matt Negrin that she’s "thrilled" to be out with her son and that she's hoping for a surprise tomorrow. “I hope he's gonna do very, very well because he's by far the most qualified," she said. Asked if it took a lot of convincing to get his mom to join him, candidate Bush replied, "She wants to help her favorite son."
