00:00I'm Joe Weisenthal co-host of what'd you Miss?. So there's this famous train called the widow maker trade where people think that Japanese borrowing costs are going to rise because the debt Japan is so high. So they sell Japanese government debt but it never works. And in fact that continues to be the case last night. Japanese 10 year yields their borrowing costs plunged or fell to a brand new record low last night. And just to contrast it and to see why everyone gets this trade wrong here the green line is Japanese debt as a percentage of GDP it's up well over 200 percent. And everyone says Japanese debt is so high we're going to sell their debt because people are going to dump it but it never works. And it just continues to kill people for trading. That's why they call it the widow maker trade and it continues to make widows even as of last night. That is my killer chart. Watch what you miss it for me .
