Paris Terror Suspect Abaaoud Killed in St Denis Raid

A seven-hour police raid on a terrorist hideout on the edge of Paris led to the killing of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a self-declared “terrorist tourist” whom investigators believe masterminded the deadliest attack in peacetime France. Abaaoud’s identity was established from his fingerprints after his body was found riddled with bullets in the ruins of the apartment assaulted by police, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said Friday. A police SWAT team fired 5,000 rounds as they battled Abaaoud and his associates on a shopping street in the suburb of Saint Denis. Bloomberg’s Hans Nichols explains more.
