Europe Reviews Security As Threats of More Attacks Warned
Less than a year after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, at least 129 people were killed in seven locations across the Paris area on Friday night in Europe’s worst terrorist attack in a decade. With security forces on high alert across the continent, Group of 20 leaders meeting in Turkey pledged to step up action against terror groups. Following the downing of a Russian passenger jet and the killings in Paris, the U.K. is to beef up its security services with an extra 1,900 intelligence officers as David Cameron’s government adapts to the prospect of a long fight against terrorism.
