Panda Power: The Zoo Helping France Go Green

Animals at France’s Beauval zoo are doing their bit for green energy. With just days to go until the COP21 climate talks in Paris, France is keen to show the world how it plans to turn around trailing renewable-energy targets with projects that can cut greenhouse-gas emissions. Methane gas produced from the zoo’s most prolific dung producers add fuel for a nearby biogas plant that heats the zoo and provides power to the national grid. Bloomberg's Caroline Connan paid a visit to see how the zoo plans to turn itself into a biogas champion.
