Fitch Downgrades Volkswagen’s Credit Rating from A

Volkswagen AG’s debt was downgraded two levels by Fitch Ratings, which said the diesel-emissions testing scandal raises questions about management and internal control at the carmaker. The rating was reduced to BBB+, the third-lowest investment grade, from A, the debt-rating company said in a statement. Fitch Ratings Senior Director Emmanuel Bulle explains the implications to Bloomberg’s Manus Cranny on “The Pulse.”
