Glencore Wipes Out Monday’s Record Loss

Glencore Plc wiped out Monday’s record slump as the shares rose for a third day alongside higher metals prices. The commodity producer and trader gained as much as 8.2 percent to 99.09 pence, bringing gains for the past three days to 44 percent. The stock was 5.3 percent higher at 96.41 pence by 9:29 a.m. in London. Peter Grauer, the chairman of Bloomberg LP, the parent of Bloomberg News, is a senior independent non-executive director at Glencore.
