Billionaire Donald Trump was the center of attention on Thursday at the first Republican debate in Cleveland. When not going after “The Donald,” his rivals—Senator Marco Rubio, former Governor Mike Huckabee, and the rest of the GOP pack—attacked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while Senator Rand Paul scuffled with Governor Chris Christie. Other candidates attempted to break through with humor, like Ben Carson, who joked about Washington’s lack of brains.
