Developers Nervous as London Presales Slump: EC Harris

(Bloomberg) -- Mark Farmer, head of the residential team at consulting firm EC Harris LLP, says developers are nervous about presales of London homes under construction, which slumped 27 percent to about 5,109 in the second quarter from about 7,046 in the same period last year, according to broker Chestertons, citing data compiled by Molior London Ltd. There's a "sense perhaps that London is just expensive at the moment," Farmer said in an interview with Bloomberg's Neil Callanan. (Source: Bloomberg)
