U.S. President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel sat with villagers in the German town of Kruen, drinking wheat beer -- non alcoholic for Obama -- and eating pretzels in the sun ahead of the Group of Seven leaders' summit in the Bavarian Alps.
