Emirates' Clark to Defend Airline Against U.S. Carriers

March 5 -- Emirates President Tim Clark said he’ll travel to Washington this month to defend his airline against allegations from U.S. carriers that Gulf operators receive market-distorting subsidies from their governments. He described the allegations as "very serious" and said his airline had been neither consulted nor permitted to respond. He spoke in an interview with Bloomberg Television's Hans Nichols.
