Froman Seeks Enhanced Trade Authority for Obama
Jan. 27 -- U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman testifies before the Senate Finance Committee about federal trade policy and the need for the Obama administration to have enhanced powers to cut trade deals with Japan, India and many other countries. Panel Chairman Orrin Hatch, a Utah Republican, said he would move quickly to pass the legislation, also known as fast-track negotiating authority.
