Jeffrey Tambor Wants ‘More Light and Love’ in American Politics

Before winning a Golden Globe Sunday night, Jeffrey Tambor stopped on the red carpet to talk politics with Mark and John—then walked away, then returned again, praising President Barack Obama, Senator Barbara Boxer, and “deep thinkers”; agitating for cooperation among politicians in his kids’ lifetimes; and saying that he could “act the hell out of” a presidential role. “Am I making any sense?” asked Tambor. Mark: “You’re speaking only in metaphors.”
