New Zealand Rugby Brings Haka War Dance to Chicago

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- New Zealand's All Blacks, the top rugby squad in the world, are seen performing the Haka, an ancient Maori war dance used to challenge opponents and get fired up before matches, in a promotional video from American International Group. The All Blacks will play the USA Eagles, who lost eight of 10 games last year, in a sold-out game at Chicago's 61,500-seat Soldier Field tomorrow. The game has already scored the largest-ever audience for an international rugby contest on American soil, signaling the sport's growing U.S. popularity.
