Premier League Viewers up 45% Year on Year: BT CEO

Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Gavin Patterson, chief executive officer at BT Group Plc, says Premier League games attract a million viewers a game typically and for BT, that has "gone up 45 percent year on year." He speaks to Anna Edwards and Mark Barton on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown" after BT, the U.K.’s former phone monopoly, said second-quarter earnings climbed 1 percent as its sports TV channels won more users for its television and Internet services.
