U.K. 10-Year Gilts Stay Higher After CBI Data; Yield is at 1.63%
U.K. gilts stayed higher after a report showed the Confederation of British Industry’s factory index unexpectedly fell this month to the lowest in 2 1/2 years.
The 10-year yield fell two basis points, or 0.02 percentage point, to 1.63 percent at 11:09 a.m. in London.
The pound stayed lower against the dollar, declining 0.4 percent to $1.5224.
