General Atlantic Buying Brazil’s XP Brokerage Stake, Veja Says

Private equity firm General Atlantic LLC agreed to pay 1.2 billion reais ($561.8 million) for a 30 percent stake in Brazilian brokerage XP Investimentos CCTVM SA, Veja reported, without saying where it got the information.
Guilherme Benchimol and Marcelo Maisonnave remain as controlling shareholders, Veja said.
