Indonesian Stocks: Bakrie Sumatera Plantations, Wijaya Karya
The Jakarta Composite index rose 1 percent to 4,030.83, its third day of gains.
Rubber producers: PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia (LSIP) rose 4.7 percent to 2,775 rupiah, bound for the highest close since May 1. PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations (UNSP) gained 3.1 percent to 199 rupiah. Rubber futures rose for a second day, adding as much as 2.8 percent to 253 yen a kilogram before trading at 251.20 yen in Tokyo.
PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) , a state-owned construction company, climbed 1.9 percent to 1,060 rupiah, heading for the highest close since May 9. Wijaya Karya got 566 billion rupiah ($60 million) of toll-road construction contracts for projects in East Java and West Java provinces, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing Corporate Secretary Natal Argawan Pardede. Pardede couldn’t be reached when called at his office.
