Turkey Stocks: TAV Havalimanlari, Turkiye Is Bankasi, Turkcell
Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) rose 0.6 percent to 59,479.73 at the close in Istanbul, gaining for the first time in three days.
The following stocks were active. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
TAV Havalimanlari Holding AS (TAVHL) , Turkey’s biggest airport operator, gained 2.4 percent to 8.48 liras. A decision on selling a 40 percent stake sale in the company will be made next week, according to Chief Executive Officer Sani Sener.
Turkiye Is Bankasi (ISATR) AS, Turkey’s largest lender by assets, climbed 2.8 percent to 4.06 liras, leading gains among banks. The bank will pay a 0.12 lira per share dividend, it said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange at the market close yesterday.
Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS (TCELL) , Turkey’s biggest mobile-phone company, fell 0.7 percent to 9.22 liras. The company’s rating and credit profile may come under pressure if it decides to buy Bulgarian phone company Vivacom, Fitch Ratings Ltd. said in a statement today.
