Israeli Stocks: Bio Light, Ormat and Ratio Oil Exploration
Israel’s TA-25 Index dropped for a third day, slipping 0.2 percent to 1,312.02 at 1:35 p.m. in Tel Aviv.
The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.
Bio Light Israeli Life Sciences Investments Ltd. (BOLT IT) gained for the first time in five days, increasing 1.8 percent to 0.39 shekel. The owner of companies that develop drugs and medical technology said it will issue about 31.3 million shares to an investor group led by Israel Makov and an additional 7.4 million shares to other investors.
Ormat Industries Ltd. (ORMT IT) fell to the lowest level since Nov. 30, dropping 2.1 percent to 27.91 shekels. The builder and operator said it will report a loss for the fourth quarter and all of 2010 after a writedown of the value of a unit’s power station.
Ratio Oil Exploration 1992 LP (RATIL IT) increased to the highest since Feb. 10, advancing 7.5 percent to 0.618 shekel. Barclays Capital said the full potential of the Leviathan discovery isn’t priced into shares of the explorer.
