Aneka Tambang, Astra, PT Inco, Timah: Indonesia Equity Preview

Nickel producers: Nickel for three-month delivery rose 2.1 percent to $24,095 a metric ton in London yesterday, the highest close since Nov. 10. PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO IJ), or PT Inco as the nation’s biggest producer of the metal is known, was unchanged at 4,600 rupiah and PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM IJ), the second largest, gained 2.1 percent to 2,475 rupiah.
PT Astra International (ASII IJ): Indonesia’s domestic motorcycle sales in January to November rose by 29 percent from a year earlier to 6.86 million units, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing Sigit Kumala, senior general manager of sales at PT Astra Honda Motor. Astra, Indonesia’s biggest automotive retailer that sells Honda Motor Co. motorcycles, gained 0.3 percent to 52,900 rupiah.
PT Timah (TINS IJ): Indonesia’s largest tin producer plans to allocate 800 billion rupiah ($89 million) for capital expenditure next year to fund expansion, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Corporate Secretary Abrun Abubakar. Timah fell 1.8 percent to 2,775 rupiah.
