China Academic Sees 9% Economic Growth in 2010, Securities News Reports
China will have “no problem” achieving economic growth of 9 percent this year, the Securities Times cited Li Yang, deputy head of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as saying.
It is not possible for China to have persistent long-term inflation because the nation still faces problems of insufficient demand, the newspaper cited Li as saying. Among the country’s 24 industries, 21 of them have oversupply problems and thus limits the possibility of price increases, the report cited Li as saying.
