Netflix’s subscriber loss avoided a worst-case scenario, the Fed has a long way to get inflation under control and a Russian gas pipeline will restart, for now at least. 

Netflix Inc. rose after its 970,000 second-quarter subscriber loss was less than half of what Wall Street feared, thanks in large part to a new season of “Stranger Things.”  Despite concerns about increased competition and a potential recession, Netflix remains confident in its position. Meanwhile in big tech, Twitter Inc. scored an early win against Elon Musk in its fight to make him complete his $44 billion buyout, as a Delaware judge agreed to fast-track the case with an October trial date.
