I’m back from Switzerland, where I traveled to moderate a couple panels at a tech conference where we talked about private valuations that were as rich as some of the local chocolate and cheese I enjoyed. The University of St. Gallen puts on an annual event called START Summit, where thousands of people from Europe’s startup scene come to talk about the industry. —Katie Roof
