Polish Finance Chief Sees Small Downside Risk to Growth Estimate

Poland’s Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski sees a “small downside” risk related to global trade tensions for the country’s economic growth this year.

The government in Warsaw had assumed that its economy will expand by 3.9% this year, driven by consumption and investment, which would be one of the strongest rates for economic momentum in the European Union. US trade ructions and the ensuing market turmoil had led some to question that forecast.
