Trump Begs ‘No More Changing of the Clocks’ in Daylight Time Bid

President Donald Trump urged Congress to make Daylight Saving Time permanent on Friday, calling the unpopular twice-yearly clock changes “a very costly event.”

“The House and Senate should push hard for more Daylight at the end of a day. Very popular and, most importantly, no more changing of the clocks, a big inconvenience,” Trump said on Truth Social amid posts on tariffs and Russia’s war in Ukraine.
