Poland Likely to Cut Rates by Early 2026, MPC’s Maslowska Says
Polish inflation risks are set to persist due to energy prices and loose fiscal policy, pushing back interest rate cuts until late in 2025 or early next year, according to policymaker Gabriela Maslowska.
The Monetary Policy Council member said in an interview that she’s unlikely to support any rate-cut motions during the next few months as inflation remains nearly twice the central bank’s 2.5% target.
