CVC, ADIA Make Fresh £5.4 Billion Hargreaves Lansdown Bid
- Offer follows previous approaches that were rejected
- Hargreaves Lansdown says its board will support the deal
A group of private equity buyers have made a fresh bid for Hargreaves Lansdown Plc that values the investment platform at £5.4 billion ($6.9 billion).
Hargreaves Lansdown said its board will unanimously support the revised offer at the proposed value, according to a statement Tuesday. CVC Capital Partners, Nordic Capital and Platinum Ivy — a subsidiary of sovereign wealth fund Abu Dhabi Investment Authority — latest offer follows previous approaches from the consortium.
