A rare new rental building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side is aimed at a growing group of apartment hunters: Those who can afford to buy a place, just would prefer not to.

Anagram Columbus Circle started leasing Wednesday, with studios starting at $4,930, and four-bedroom units with Central Park views priced from $26,150 a month. The 26-story tower, under construction on Broadway and West 60th Street, offers high-end finishes that condo buyers can expect, but without the commitment of ownership, according to the property’s billionaire developer.
