Norway should cut income tax across the board to improve people’s incentives to work, according to a committee of experts that made a swathe of proposals on revamping taxation in the Nordic country.
The ruling Labor-led government, whose predecessor appointed the working group, is more likely to listen to that proposal than the other recommendations, which included reducing the wealth tax and partially replacing it with a tax on inheritance.
