Australia’s national soccer team has called on Qatar to decriminalize same-sex relationships and continue to improve conditions for migrant workers, as scrutiny of the Gulf state’s human rights record intensifies ahead of next month’s World Cup.

In a video uploaded to the team’s website Thursday, players acknowledged progress in ensuring the rights of migrant workers, but said a migrant resource center should be set up as a legacy of the tournament.
