Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared October 31, the eve of All Saints’ Day, as a special non-working holiday.

Marcos signed the proclamation on the holiday to give the public more time with their families, and to boost local tourism, said Cheloy Garafil, Office of the Press Secretary’s officer-in-charge. November 1 was earlier declared a holiday.
