Underpaid US Workers Are Doing More to Make More

A survey by recruiter Robert Half shows staff feel underpaid, want raises and are willing to assume new duties to get them.

American employees are taking on more work in the hope of taking home more pay. 

With inflation stubbornly high and economic uncertainty rising, half of employees in recruiter Robert Half’s new 2023 Salary Guide said they were assuming responsibilities outside their job descriptions to position themselves for raises.
