Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport will compensate passengers who missed flights due to long wait times at security control, making it one of the first European hubs to reimburse travelers for the summer’s travel chaos.

People are eligible if they were at the airport on time between April 23 and Aug. 11 but missed their departure due to an exceptional queues, Schiphol, which is home to the Dutch arm of Air France-KLM, said in a statement.
